Borrow/fix a table; costcutting idea.

As FarSight is giving pinball hobbyism a boost, more people will want to buy their own table, but the cheap ones are fixer-uppers. This is where the knife could cut both ways.

The plan would go as follows; Farsight gets to disect your fixer-upper for digital reproduction, should they show an interrest in your table, and as a reward you'll get a restored table back. Transportation costs/risks wil be for the owner's.

Sure that helps FS ... But wouldn't it be cheaper to just get the table restored than to ship it across the country twice?

You'd have to live close enough to find the offer lucrative.

I was under the impression they don't fully restore thier table. They just get it to a functioning condition.

Yeah it's much easier to use photoshop (or equivalent) than touch in the playfield with paints.
