Looked all over the place but can't seem to find the answer, I uninstalled the game at some point to reinstall it, but now I cannot reinstall it at all, installer always returns an error of insufficient storage available, I have over 4gb available on both the SD space, and internal. I have the 2013 nexus 7, I guess it may have to do with an old odex or something I need to remove, but I could not find what it is.

I tried clearing cache and dalvik cache. Where are all the files I can remove to make the system clear of all traces of PA so I may reinstall it?

Anyone else run into this?

Unfortunately that folder does not exist, also even tried installing it to another, then backed it up with titanium backup, moved those to the new device and tried restoring, to no avail :-( uses standard installer I think. Gonna try another bunch of things, but I would sure hate to do a full system restore just to get this one great game working.

did you try shuttig your device down completely, then powering it back up?

you can try looking in /data/app/ and delee any tmp files you see in there.

Yeah, then went into TWRP and cleared Dalvik/Cache, glad I have not purchased any of the tables yet. Luckily I live like 5 Miles from the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas so I get my fix there.
but I do miss playing Whitewater for hours when it was free last month :)

Centaur is awesome too, but I want to buy the season passes and play em all.

Zen Pinball is great but I like love the classic tables

Stating the obvious (cleanest method of un-install)...

Goto 'settings' 'applications manager' and swipe across until column 'all' is active.
Scroll down looking for 'Pinball Arcade'.
If present, Clear cache, Clear data, force stop, then uninstall.
Go back to the the Google Play store and re - install.

I don't understand why you are clearing Dalvik and creating/restoring backups using Titanium. Much better/simpler to do a clean install.
If you are trying to preserve achiements/highscores, and you are obviously root accessible to be using Titanium, then the apps data file locations are as follows...

TABLE DATA = /MNT/SDCARD/ANDROID/DATA/COM.FARSIGHT.ANDROIDPINBALL.JAVAPROJECT/FILES/...

SAVE DATA = /DATA/DATA/COM.FARSIGHT.ANDROIDPINBALL.JAVAPROJECT/FILES/saved_data

Although you only need preserve the 'save data' as the table data will download on demand.

Hope you get it sorted!

The way I see it there are only two possibilities:

1 - You actively screwed something up while rooting your device which has now turned crazy to the point it doesn't recognize its own free space. Looks a bit strange to me but might happen. The only way to fix this is to reset your device back to stock configuration, then root it again CAREFULLY.

2 - You actually don't have enough free space to install the app. I know you'll probably scream out loud that you're not a noobs and you're sure you have free space, but I don't know you nor your abilities to use an android device: it's just an hypothetic thinking, not an accusation. There's also the possiblility that the device doesn't have free space and don't tell you so. On all my android devices I just can't get any data regarding my space available from the android menu, the devices keep "looking for" it but never gives me any number, like if it was stuck in a loop. Thid party apps like ES explorer give me realistic numbers on the spot though.

So for me, the best way to solve your problem is to start with a blank sheet: wipe your device, return it to the state it was the first time you you turned it on and start fresh.
