Why i can only play with a yellow neon light and a yellow menagerie ball?

It used to be random in DX9 version.

Will it change to random with DX11 at a point?

It should be random with Dx11 now.

If you have not already, opt out of beta as this is now part of the regular releases (thus the beta is not updated anymore).

Cheers (literally)

It should change over to another color. After getting yellow, I restarted the table and got a light blue neon.

I have not played that table since the DX11 Beta went live, but I seem to recall that it did randomly change colors, but I had to open another table and return to CV again to see it change, and sometimes fate had the same color a few times in a row before it finally changed. I wanted to play it with blue lighting, and remember having to exit, go to another table, and then return again a few times before I got it to play as blue.

OK It seems it only goes to yellow only the first time i start the table. When i exit it and restart it, the color changes.

I got a purple neon and finaly managed to go to party time again, which was almost impossible with the yellow for some reason :)

Thank you all for the help!

The table has been fixed since the DX11 beta, so the lights change and the lag is gone. Just reload it a few times :)

However, I wish the neon would revert back to be as blinding as it was in DX9 and earlier beta versions. Even with room brightness at 0% and bulb brightness at 100% it's incredibly dim and barely reflects off the rest off the table. Really miss the old strobe effect :/
