When I started PS4 to play TPA, I was told of a system update to 5.05 waiting. I didn't apply it.
I played Cirqus Voltaire and at the end of the game, I was told to apply the update in a pop-up. My guess is that at the end-of-game of Voltaire, it tried to communicate and couldn't because an update was due.
I switched to Creature from the Black Lagoon and at the end of that game, The Pinball Arcade crashed completely, back out to a Send info to Sony page (which I did complete) and mentioned it was the end of black lagoon in the text.
My suspicion was the crash was due again to TPA not being able to communicate post-game because an update was due.
