Difficulty Question

First off, I wanted to say great job to Far Sight for their hard work on creating the best video pinball. I've had many many hours of fun and will continue to do so. Thanks!

I have a question about the difficulty on most of the tables after the recent update. I'm a seasoned player and have racked up some monster scores but it seems that after the update for F14, all the tables seemed to have gotten harder. Is it me or has anyone else noticed this as well? I know a few tables I have always had issues with such as Cirqus Voltaire and Star Trek. Those 2 seem to drain way more balls on the outlanes than their REAL counterparts.

I have felt that some got harder and some got easier after the better flipper physics was extended to all tables. I think some of it is because, for some tables, I was depending on some shots which were not particularly realistic in physics terms - being able to put more force on a flip to a moving ball, for example, than would have been possible on an actual table. I'm still readjusting.

So I don't think it's your imagination that play has changed - I wouldn't agree they all got harder, though, necessarily.

I guess me saying all got harder was a stretch but certain ones have. Scared Stiff is one that I can put up a pretty high score...iI'm barely making 40-50 million now. To me, it seems as if the balls are faster, heavier, and the skill shots don't work off of the old "sweet spots" anymore. It's almost like having to relearn some of the tables.

As far as Cirque Voltaire, I GAVE UP. That left outlane drains so many balls....I lose count.
