PS Vita - Bug During Genie Battle there's no multiball & plunger doesn't work

So twice on TotAN on the Vita version I've gotten to the Genie Battle, and the same bug has happened both times. Only one ball is shot onto the table and I'm unable to launch any more balls. I've tried all the different settings for the plunger but nothing launches the ball. When I lose the single ball I get, I'm unable to do anything since I can't launch anything. I lose the battle as a result and the game just sits there. The only way I can resume play is to Call Attendant, which allows me to launch the ball again but all my progress is of course gone.

Really frustrating. Anyone else have this problem?

wow i think this happens on all platforms. i didn't figure it out because i didn't drain. Yeah the plunger is supposed to be available during that mode and you have to manual plunge the balls.

It works-ish on android. You can't manually pkunge but thw game seems to keep the balls in play when they drain.
