This past weekend I learned of two locations that were either switching out or have pinball machines. Here they are:
- I arrived in Framingham last weekend and learned that Game Underground (awesome video game store / arcade) was trading out their pinball machine. For the past year it was a Super Mario Bros. but it was turned off when I got there - apparently there was a broken flipper rubber. However, to compensate, they mentioned that they were going to replace it by next month with either Star Wars (Data East) or Royal Rumble. Whichever machine gets added I will be playing a lot of - Data Easts are particularly impossible to find in MA. Even better is that the machines are operated by Sarah of Pinball Wizard Aracde!
- There's also a new location I can arrive to in Maine. A hotel called the "Juniper Hill Inn" features a game room that changes out pinball machines often (lest I checked it was TOM). Now, after about three months of having it, the operator is switching it out with The Who's Tommy. This is another machine I am looking forward to playing as when I played it in Pelham it was a personal favorite of mine.
Very soon on my blog (or whenever I can play the machines) I will add posts about my experience on the machines and how they play!
