My biggest gripe, although it is probably accurate to the table, is that there is no hurry up bonus after a ball. That grates on me. The other day I was playing Back to the Future and abandoned the game due to long wait times between balls, but Diner is certainly not as long between balls as that.
I really like the ruleset on this table, haven't figured out a strategy to go with yet. Nice companion to Taxi, so that Taxi doesn't get too boring. Playing on iPhone, I find the ball really loves to hit the the posts of the right ramp A LOT. It reminds me of the Hi/Lo shot on HRC when that first came out. Doesn't seem like that shot should be so hard to hit. Like in original release of HRC, doesn't seem to wanna sneak through from a trap, while the spinner and sinkhole are both very makeable (and visually a smaller window). The A in EAT is very hard to see from whether scrolling or fixed view. The clock looks weird to me. The rules state you start at 1:00, but it looks like 12:05. My biggest gripe, although it is probably accurate to the table, is that there is no hurry up bonus after a ball. That grates on me. The other day I was playing Back to the Future and abandoned the game due to long wait times between balls, but Diner is certainly not as long between balls as that. Like BttF, I don't see myself playing over and over and over due to that reason. Over all, a nice alternative to Taxi, which is a nostalgic fave, but much easier to get that jackpot!
