Full Moon Fever [NP]

OK, I realize there was a full moon yesterday and all. But does anyone know what has prompted this mass outbreak of lunacy on the forums lately, especially among our most senior members? In the course of 24 hours, I've had one member more or less call me a liar for making a statement from statistical evidence, another refuse to recognize that the PC version is released and no longer a beta, and a third thread sink into the personal attack swamp over a bunch of Gottliebs.

I've been thinking about what has people so on edge and here's what I came up with: FarSight REALLY muffed the announcement of their issues with WMS, mainly by having it be so late in the game. If we had know about this back in September, I can guarantee that you wouldn't have nearly the level of Gottlieb hate we've seen recently. Also, having a timeline for when we can expect the WMS issues to get resolved would have helped immensely; uncertainty tends to put people in a highly reactive state and the WMS tables are probably ~80% of most peoples' wishlists, so tempers might flare at the prospect of not knowing when FS will be able to release those tables, if ever. In short, hope that FS can bring us some good news soon and keep the faith!

The moon does have an effect on people but other things are contributing factors. Hopefully they will let it out and things will settle down. Pinball Arcade Fans are better than that. Reread what you have posted and ask if it was nessasary.

I know we are getting off topic from the blog but I would like to add this after Skill- Shots comment. Two days ago shoplifter a Walmart , police chase ensues 2miles down the road 2 police cars and one civilians car totaled over seven dollars of merchandise. I'm just going to stay out here on the farm until this blowes over.

Not only full moon, but very bad weather in the whole universe.
People here (at my place) are all either aggressive or very sensitive. Friends, customers and even family. Most of them are in a pre-I have a cold state, or some November depression. Or it's just the lack of sunlight...

Fortunately I'm not in such a mood (yet)
