Steam has an offline mode that lets you launch the game, the game has a separate login. FUUTA doesn't play tables past season 3 so no reason to update. As for Dizzers comment, there's some grey area knowledge that one could apply to figure out what scores will or wont post, and if one does so, should do it when not logged in/internet connected. I've done that to deduce what the '10B rollover issue' was on high scoring games like Addams Familys bogus bonus and shown its exploitable on Tee'd Offs skins mode by intentionally losing from 8B to 0 then restoring my lost score of 8B (it's a game feature, as long as you dont drain), would treat it as a 18B score. As for why Fish Tables doesn't have rollover detection, no idea! they could have just as easily copied it from earlier tables that implemented it. It works just the same in Addams Family, and Tee'd Off: the game (farsights) has a rollover value and a rollover multiplier in memory, after the game ends and shows you the number the rom can support the game adds to that value on the next screen by tacking on what it kept count of, like so... (rom_score + (rollover_value * rollover_count)), and submits that score to the leaderboard. How the rollovers are detected was mentioned earlier.. (in short: (8B mark or more) to (0 to 1.9B mark), = +1 to multiplier)
