This netted me already 969 HOF points, and that may be in fault too, because in the mean time the table got updated again and now the HOF requirement score seems to be 200M (which incidentally would yield around 900 HOF points for my initial 187M score). This one seems to work in my benefit but on the other hand I would also like it to be correct. I have a highscore of 16B that correctly registered on the leaderboards, but not in-app. This would easily give me the 1000 HOF points. However, it only took the 6B from the 16B which was too low for my current in-app high score list and therefore (?) did not up my HOF points. I purposefully played a game after that which gave me around 9B+ (draining remaining balls) to get as close to the 10B as I dared. I'm still stuck at around 800+ HOF points I believe. The problem now is that all my in-app high scores are between 7B and 9B, and I'm curious if I would be awarded the 1000 points if I would score between 17B-19B, of which the 7B-9B part would fall within my in-app high scores. I can't figure out the math in your scores like you said. The only thing that I can think off is trying to surpass your already great scores to see if TPA corrects itself, with every major update there is a chance that things will straighten out.
First off, congrats on the scores! I'm at 8th place behind you (gamecenter) and I was amazed that somebody already amassed 36.000 plus HOF points, but now I can see why.... :) And then to think that you may have been robbed of HOF points going by your post, really impressive. Nice to see you join the forums. About those HOF troubles, I know them too and are also wondering how things work. I have had different experiences with this: - I scored a 187M score on Victory some days after it came out, and it only registered 87M in-app, and on the leaderboards. Funny thing is also that even in those early release days, there were already 100M+ scores registered on the leaderboards, and I couldn't understand how that was possible without hacking. Or is this maybe a platform specific thing? - I have wrestled with TOM also. Still with me? The problem I see with your scores and HOF points, is that there seems no logic to them. I can understand why TOM may behave like it did for me, taking the "single" billion and not the decimal but the HOF points do seem correct for the "single" billion score. I can't figure out the math in your scores like you said. The only thing that I can think off is trying to surpass your already great scores to see if TPA corrects itself, with every major update there is a chance that things will straighten out. Don't count on it though.... :) I count myself extremely lucky that I haven't encountered a lot of these strange things, and I haven't lost my scores (clinging superstitiously very much to my old iPad with iOS 6 installed). There are enough threads around with horror stories, especially when migrating to a new device.
