Has anyone gotten an Extra Ball from the Level 5 or 6 recon awards?

Just curious, title says it all. I've come back to this table again for awhile, and tried building up the recon awards early, figuring at level 5 and 6, 2 out of 4 awards are an extra ball. But I've never once gotten it awarded from either. Is it at all possible, or is it just a tease? I've gotten more luck getting extra balls from the Psychic Test.

I don't recall ever seeing it either, and that's the sort of thing I'd pay attention to and notice. Doesn't mean it's impossible, could be a very low frequency like 1%, but it's certainly nowhere near the 1/4 chance that the display implies.
