I like this EM...especially since I put flashers on it.

Rust, rust, rust. Almost every piece of metal in this barn dweller (name I use for pins that have been stored in a barn or shed for many years) had some form of rust on it. I must have spent 10 hours alone just cleaning rust and repainting where needed. I repainted the legs, the rear playfield glass receiver, the top of the lockdown bar receiver and the blue upper playfield ball arch. All things considered, this 1977 Williams Liberty Bell turned out pretty decent.

Since this game was designed for the 1976 bi-centennial of the USA I thought it would be neat to give it some fireworks by installing post mounted white LED's that flash when the DC powered slingshots and pop bumpers are activated. Doing this also required me to replace all the posts. I removed all the solid red ones and replaced them with clear ones for the slings and center drop target area, red for the left side and blue for the right side. Here's a couple short videos showing the effects. Pretty cool stuff and all this can be easily changed back to the way it was if someone was so inclined...which I'm not.
