Landscape on iPhone

Is there a landscape mode for the iPhone? I have been playing since the game released and own every table, but I've never seen an option for landscape and just can't find the information anywhere (launching the game in landscape orientation doesn't change anything).

A forum search turned up a poll on how people like to play, in landscape or portrait, but I've only ever been able to play in portrait.

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but my search didn't turn anything else useful up.

Turn your phone sideways BEFORE hitting the Start button. FarSight did that so the table wouldn't turn accidentally in the middle of a game.

I've tried this many times (on two different phones now) and it never works for me, but it's good to know it's supposed to. Thanks!

Actually, I just noticed it'll turn while playing now. Is your "screen lock" on by chance?

it wasn't like that before so I guess they changed how it works with the update.
