How well do you think a laptop like this...

AMD A12-9720P APU, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD, AMD Radeon 530 Graphics 2GB Dedicated

...will be able to run Pinball Arcade?

The game seems so badly optimised it needs a monster setup to play smoothly with ultra settings. Obviously DX11 would be nice at at least 720p. Flipper lag must be priority. Any thoughts?

I would not say it's badly optimised at all.. I'd say with tweaking some settings, you should be able to run it in at least dx9 decently. Can't tell you anything about flipper lag. Unline NVIDIA, AMD has no stock options for adjusting the maximum amount of pre-rendered frames. And you really want that to be 0 to avoid flipper delay.

Btw, don't buy a laptop without an SSD anymore. Windows will boot in <20 sec and the frequent updates they throw at you finish much faster. 4 GB RAM also sounds undersized these days although it will depend on your needs.

I completely agree with this comment. SSDs are amazing, especially for laptops, and 8 gb ram has become a standard.
