Left saucer

It is really hard to get a ball in the left saucer with a direct shoot from the flippers, at least on Android. I keep getting it going in and then out. Bug or should it be this hard?

Same for PC. I never played Wild Card IRL, so I have no idea if this is by design or a bug.
