So tomorrow my family is going on a road trip to Washington DC. My parents created plans for locations on the way to and back from Washington:

- Having brunch in Norwalk CT
- We are going to stay at the Hampton Inn in Pennsfield NJ and have dinner in Deepwater NJ
- Our hotel is the Intercontinental Willard Hotel near the White House southern garden in Washington DC
- After about a week in Washington we will head to Elkton MD and stay at an unknown hotel

Does anyone know of any places near these areas? I was thinking of perhaps doing something at Crabtowne USA but I heard the games there, despite being plentiful, are in crap condition.

In DC, there is a bar called the Satellite room, or something like that. I haven't been there yet, but I heard that they have an ACDC, Star Trek LE, and some other games in great condition.

Just outside of DC in Sterling, VA, every Monday night I play at a bar called Mighty Mikes, we have 6 games in pretty good condition. They have Road Show, Jackbot, Funhouse, WCS, NBA FB, and Royal Flush.

Also outside of DC in College park, MD, is another place I play, but every Thursday Night is Town Hall. They do have a great line up of games but there are some things you should BEWARE of. First, After 6pm you need to be 21 or older to be inside the vicinity. Second, the games are priced low, but for a reason. They do have TZ and TAF priced at 50 cents each, but you can tell that they have been used a lot. They are still enjoyable, but they are a bit rough in some spots. This also holds true with their AFM, SnS, AC-DC, Dr. WHO, and World Poker Tour. They also have a WOZ LE, but it has been broken and out of service for over a week. It's a shame since it was my favorite game there.

Decided to head to Recess Arcade in Burlington NJ, it is on the way to Pennsfield. They have Congo, World Cup Soccer, Austin Powers, and Guns 'n Roses. I'll keep you updated :)

Crabtown is great! Yea some of the games are a little run down, but most are just fine. Any place with multiple pins you gotta expect that theres gonna be problems here and there. Especially the older ones. You shouldn't miss it.

I do believe the original poster may be too young to get into bars. :) Don't know DC's laws in particular but NJ is pretty strict about allowing only over 21 to enter.

Not sure about the laws in DC, you"ll probably want to call ahead before you go out of your way to get there.

At Mighty Mikes, I know for sure that there is no age requirement. Just know that it is a smoking bar, but the Pins are in a non-smoking section with its own ventilation system and its own entrance. Only one of their pins are in the smoking section.

So on the way to DC my parents made a deal for me to head to the Volleyball House to play pinball. Sadly I only have 1/2 an hour to play, so I'm going to make the most of my time playing Corvette, Robocop, Baywatch, Demolition Man, and High Speed.

Volleyball House is another location where the FSPA has their weekly league nights. I don't play at that location, but a lot of our great players do, and it sounds like they have a great line-up of titles.

You can check the calendar and standings from the league's website.

Not sure what your plans are, but the FSPA is having their finals at Volleyball house this Wednesday at 8pm and Town Hall this Thursday at 8:30pm. Mighty Mike's will have a standard league night tomorrow at 8pm and their finals will be the following Monday.

I didn't qualify for the finals at Town Hall, but I still have a chance at Mike's. Wish me luck tomorrow.

Volleyball house, I'm not sure since I don't play at that location.

Mighty Mikes, I'm pretty sure that it opens at around 11.

Not sure how early Town Hall is open, because I go there at night just for the league. I'd guess that it opens at 11, after 6pm you must be 21 (or older) to be in the bar which is where the Pins are.

Let us know what happens.

Ugh, Volleyball House is closed so no Robocop or Baywatch for me :(

However my parents did promise me one day that I would be able to play pinball somewhere. I found a pizza restauraunt in Gettysburg that has Austin Powers and NASCAR so maybe that could also be a possibility. I am also convincing them about taking me to the Satellite Room to play Star Trek and TRON. I guess we'll just see. :)
