new layout/update

hi all

just got the download and the new interface sucks to high heaven. The titles on the balls are so small i cant easily see what i want to play. no longer are your tables and unpurchased tables separate. it is so difficult to just play a simple game. Oh by the way, pinball wizard is over played. wow now i have to hear the entire song that i hate while it try to figure out where the hell the game i want to play is at. wth.

oh btw wth to i have to "press to start" i already press the app for it to start. how dumb

i use to play every day. with this new crap i refuse to play at all. so frustrating for the one app i like to go straight to crap.

oh let me rant on. a stupid ball menu on the front. really you took up that real estate to put that nonsense in there. oh yeah fix the stupid settings. it doesnt remember them. i turned down the stupid tommy pinball wizard song and it started playing it again.

pointless plain dumb. i havent ranted like this ever but this crap is all out crap. i was looking forward for the stern version but screw that.

I'm not crazy about it, but i can get used to it. It's buggy though: I clicked on Taxi and it launched Addams Family!

I was just about to create a thread about all the negative comments in googleplay. So i didn't bother updating my app.

Is it truly this bad? I guess I'll stick to the old menu until they overhaul the GUI... Sadly my Steam client updated my PC version so that sucks, haven't tested it though... Too scared to open it now with all the comments!

Don't let the new UI scare you, Terminator. Oh sure it's different and who likes being switched without their ok? Just remember the tables icon is in the upper left corner so you won't be stuck with those 4 choices in the middle.

I like the new UI ... especially the fact that I may now sort the tables by rating, years, achievements etc. Especially the own rating is cool to have my favorite machines up front.

People should calm down a bit, it might not be super cool or a 3D room full of your machines, but at the end it's just the "console" to start the tables ... fgs.

Also, note that they fixed up a lot of what was wrong with it, just like I am sure they will fix up the new ui.

What makes you think everyone now liked the old UI? I can tell you I didn't. Scrolling through 70+ tables just isn't fun. I see quite some benefits in the new UI, I just don't like that it has been released in the current state. Some things I don't like at all, but with things like with the general look I get over it quite easily.

It's quite ugly but I guess I can get used to it. The one thing I like is the play random choice. Sometimes I just don't know which table I want to play and it forces me to play a table I would never have chosen and actually have fun with it. Oh and btw where are my videos I paid for.

Like Invitro said it's worse. It's so bad that I have a hard time understanding how anyone can be OK with it, let alone actually like it.
I deleted the newest version and reverted back to version 1.50.10... thank God I made a backup. No such luck on my PS4, Vita and mobile versions so I'll just delete them.

I do like how the Steam review score has plummeted to 33% since the new UI came out. Pretty much says it all really.

Maybe also mark which games have Basic and Wizard completed as well. Upper corners look fine to me.

EDIT: Maybe Upper left and lower left corners. Don't want to obscure that Table of the Month thing.

I wish FarSight would round the corners. Straight sharp corners look dated and lazy. Also, I believe there are more colors in the world than Black and Gray.

I much prefer the way the the new UI functions. And hopefully it will improve over time. Scrolling through the old UI was getting to be a drag.
