Like the title says, there's a new place for location pinball in southeast PA. PinCrossing just opened this month in the Railroad Street Bar and Grill located in Linfield, PA. In case you never heard of Linfield, neither did I until I found out about this small village on Pinside. It's near Limerick and less than ten minutes from the Philadelphia Premium Outlets off 422 between Pottstown and King of Prussia. Some links to the websites. They're pretty basic but the PinCrossing one lists the games and the Railroad Street Bar and Grill's has the hours of operation and the address. It's really easy to find though.

The food was good and they have a large selection of on tap beers. But, of course, who cares about that? How was the pinball? Well, I can report that it was AWESOME! The lineup is superb and the condition of the machines was top notch. Here's what they got:
Metallica MOP LE - My first time playing. Dollar for a single game or three games for two dollars. Needless to say, I put two bucks in. What did I think? Fun, fun, fun. As you can expect a new game to play, it was smooth as butter. The LED's popped and I really enjoyed myself. Metallica had the most forgiving tilt of the group so, if you're a good nudger, you'll keep a ball in play for a little while. I managed to get the Sparky and MOP multiball on my first game. I don't know if I like it as much as AC/DC but it blows away Avengers or Xmen.
White Water - VERY tight tilt. Nice thing though is that these tables are on hardwood floors so you can get away with some sliding. Shake it, however, and you're done. Played great, although, shouldn't WH20 have four balls? I locked two and got the two ball Whirlpool Challenge which released one of my locks so I had to relock it again. I can't remember.
Theatre of Magic - Sooo tight and smooth. It played like butter. Trunk magnet grabbed the ball like a champ. No blaming the game if you lost the ball.
Monster Bash - See TOM above. I think this one had an external sub underneath cause I could feel the bass from the music on the floor.
Lord of the Rings - Man, I want one of these. Managed to get Two Towers and Fellowship Multiball. Just played soo good.
Indiana Jones: TPA - Once again, smooooth. The tight tilts on these Bally/Williams though made it tough to keep the ball going for too long.
Pinbot - Three or four (I can't remember) plays for a dollar. Superb deal. Played very well but the sound was turned off for some reason. Also, Pinbot is begging for LED's to really make the light show pop.
Gorgar - didn't play but playfield looked very nice. No heavy wear.
Pinball Pool - didn't play and I think was turned off.
Cirqus Voltaire - stuck left flipper so couldn't play. Really disappointed. CV was all LED'd out and was a beauty to look at.
Kiss - also didn't play.
With the exception of Metallica everything else was 25 cents or 50 cents a play with various deals if you put a dollar or two dollars in. I went on a Thursday afternoon, so there wasn't many people there but I can imagine Friday and Saturday nights getting busy. They also do tournaments. Note that they had five arcade games too. A multicade, Donkey Kong, Popeye, Pac-Man and Beer Tapper.
