I have not dropped a coin(s) or even seen a real life machine in years. (supposedly the airport up the road has a LOTR but not desired). What is the going typical cost per play now-a-days and are there replays anymore (free games).

Here in Sweden it's 5 kr ($0.75) for one game and yes you still get replays.

Depends on the machine and the operator, but in general it's 50 cents a game for most machines from last century, 75 cents for first-tier machines (TAF, MM, AFM, TZ, etc.) and modern Sterns up to about 2010, a dollar a game for recent Sterns (AC/DC, Avengers, etc.).

must be nice to live in piball mecca :p

It's $1 a pop no matter how old the machine here. Some are more. They have been $1 since the 90s

I seen .50 .75 and newer sterns at $1 some with reachable replays and some set so ridiculously high they doubled the grand champion score.
