I've written a DLL that allows making use of pretty much all real DMD displays users put in their virtual pinball cabs nowadays.
If any developer reads this and you're interested to add support for real DMDs, let me know. It also has a virtual DMD mode where you can test. The API is quite simple, basically you're sending a top-left to bottom-right byte array with 0-3 values to a function and all the rest is done by the DLL. Should honestly not take more than a few hours to integrate.
