Every table on my PC runs smoothly except Scared Stiff, ball is moving choppy,i think it's a bug because on multiballs speed of the balls is the same.Every other table runs with 60 fps.Version of the game 1.28.13.

From time to time, I have frame-rate issues even on tables like Central Park, Genie, and El Dorado-all single-ball tables.

Now saving for a better computer so I can see if multi-ball frame-rate dips are truly an issue.

I don't have fps drops on any other table and my pc is more than enough for this game. The problem is with this only one table so i presume this is bug,on previous versions this table was running smoothly.Star Trek is the most demending graphically table in this game and runs perfectly even on multiballs.

Is this table running slightly slow or does it feel like half speed (30fps vs 60fps)

What settings are you using and what CPU/GPU do you have?

Do you have pro mode?

FYI, If the game runs slighly slow...like say 50fps vs 60fps, then it's a CPU issue. If it runs at 30fps, then it' most likely a GPU issue.

This is sort of related so I'll mention it here. As rehtroboi40 mentioned earlier a lot of the older, mainly EM, tables that don't have ROM emulation seem to experience intermittent framerate choppiness esp. when the ball is on the top half of the playfield. It's sort of baffling and I can't figure out why it happens. I've experienced it mainly on Genie and Big Shot. My computer is pretty beefy so I don't think it's very likely to be a CPU problem (i5-3570K running at 4.4G and GTX 660). It's not a huge issue at least for me since the problem seems to be mainly visual and disappears once the ball gets near the flippers. It's kind of baffling though.

I tried a FPS monitoring software to see where it happened and the program maintained a steady 60 FPS reading even when the ball was clearly skipping frames. This would kind of indicate to me that the modeling of the ball inside the program itself is skipping rendered frames instead of the program slowing down, although I'm not a programmer so I can't say for sure.

Ball is moving at about 20 fps and this happens on all table, not some specific places,on multiballs speed of the balls is the same as one ball.
