Anybody ever play this? Was it any good?

I always wanted this on TPA since I heard there was a TPA. Now I see somebody else already tackled it, so it is doubtful we will see it on TPA, bummer. :(

I do have the MS Pinball disc and the game is decent, but like the Hall of Fame discs made for PS2 and Xbox360, the ball is VERY floaty. Seeing how current TPA physics makes gameplay on tables remade from the HoF discs, and on HH and CBW (which are also on MSP), this table is definitely a possibility. I thought it would be July's table but perhaps July next year will be.

I also have MS Pinball Arcade and played it a ton after it came out. So76 was actually my least favorite of all seven tables... it's very, very boring. Slick Chick was my favorite, then Knock Out.

Okay, thanks. I'm thinking those discs would be hard to find now, but will check it out & see.

I meant for Xbox 360, like the above. But that disc hasn't got SO76 on it. But, it does have some tables that TPA has, which gives me hope that SO76 can be done for TPA. :)

I'm not much on pc games, as my laptop is old & weak. :)

Here is a list of tables that game has. Looking at it on YT, gotta admit it doesn't look as good as TPA. Price for it is pretty high, but it does have Sorcerer & Jive Time, 2 tables not on TPA yet, I think.

Jive Time (1970)
Gorgar (1979)
Firepower (1980)
Black Knight (1980)
Sorcerer (1980)
Space Shuttle (1984)
Pinbot (1986)
Taxi (1988)
Whirlwind (1990)
Funhouse (1990)
Tales of the Arabian Nights (1996)
Medieval Madness (1997)
No Good Gophers (1997)

And NGG, looks okay, but that view moving around would hafta be lockable, like on TPA. TPA still looks better, & just from watching, the physics on TPA are much better.

All in all, I would not buy it just to get the same tables as TPA, though I am curious about Sorcerer. :)

Edit: Checked out Sorcerer, not my cuppa, so I'd pass on this game, I guess, esp since it's $75.

Thanks. As I said, it only has Sorcerer & Jive Time that are not on TPA, & I'm not interested in them. Also, as a console user with bigscreen hdtv, playing on my little laptop screen just would not do it for me. But thanks for your reply invitro. :)

The frame rate of MSPA suffers, and seems locked at 30fps.

EMs always were floaty because of a lower table slope. i think ems were usually 4.00 to 4.5, while modern tables are around 6.5

I really like Microsoft Pinball Arcade and still play it. Although the graphics and physics obviously aren't as advanced as some current offerings, it's still fun. And for a twenty-year-old game, it's still pretty impressive. And it still has the only digital Slick Chick (that I know of). I'm surprised TPA hasn't recreated it.
