Star Trek - Stern

Anyone playing this game or have one nearby? I have found one near enough to me to visit on occasion.
I'm really enjoying this machine and can't wait to play it again, hopefully this weekend.

I really like the Multiple Color LEDs and the mission themes from the last two movies.

Feels completely different to me from AC/DC and Metallica. Seems smoother and the flow seems better to me.

Having a tough time lighting the Captain's chair and getting that Warp Ramp down.

I did watch the PAPA video. Wish I could play like that. Learned it has multiple plunger skill shots and that guy is much better at hitting the warp ramp then me and the Klingon multiple ball final shot looks tough (I haven't got there yet either).

I love the tile warning "Dare you shake the Klingon Empire?". makes me laugh every time and answer "Yes, I dare"..

There's one near me. I instantly liked the way it felt. I'm not a big Star Trek fan, but this machine had me hooked.

I've been lighting the Captain's Chair, but didn't know what to do with it. I watched that tutorial video. He (Kerins) met the conditions, but I couldn't tell if it lit on that machine the same way? I could be playing on an updated version. As near as I can tell, Captain's Chair just signifies you've completed 3 in a row, and it's multiplying the corresponding shot. Is there more to it than that?

I'm about to go play it some more in a few hours. I'll try and figure it out.

Sets of three light 'Super' modes:
Super bummers, Super pops, and Super Spinner.

Left triangle side <-Super Pops

Right triangle side <- Super Ramp

Bottom of triangle < Super Spinner

I don't know what super does, more points??

Plus there are 3 levels to each mission - don't know exactly what those do either..

Edit:

Just got back. I got to Kobayashi Maru Multiball and somehow beat it on my first try. At least I think I did. I hit two of every flashing shot, and then it started the missions over. I ended with around 60 million. I'm really enjoying this game.

A friend of mine has an LE. It's such a beautiful damn machine. Plays quick as hell, too.

There's a pro in a bar near me, I've played it quite a bit. Its a pretty nice game but the first level modes are a bit bland. I'm pretty sure its the oldest version of the rom though. I do keep going back pretty frequently to play so I guess that says something.
