Question to those who have played SST in real life:
How easy is it to flipper catch and trap balls?

Are you talking about a live catch? If so, I'd say SST is average in general, though the small flipper does provide added control for other kinds of ball cradling.

You are correct. Cradling the ball on one of the flippers.

I mean getting the ball under control where you're cradling it. Is SST in RL easier/same/harder than other tables?

It would seem that the contours of the mini flipper would make catching a ball coming down the right inlane tough.

Weird coincidence to pop on here and see a Starship Troopers topic. I was literally just shopping craigs list/Pinside for one right before I came here. Was also looking for mod vids on youtube, but didn't find much of anything for it.

I can't answer your question though TC, I've never actually seen or played the table before.
