This is just a rough comparison between Star Trek Vengeance in SPA and the real machine, from Lethalfrag's video here (starts at 8 minutes in). The example shown is in Prime Directive - the people in the real machine run faster than they do in Stern Pinball Arcade. 0:25 is a great example - note the movement in the arms on both DMD's.
The real machine's Prime Directive start animation is at 0:10 and ends at roughly 0:14. The title cuts to the main loop at 0:17.
The same animation on Stern Pinball Arcade starts at the same time, but ends at roughly 0:15, just more than one second slower. The title cuts to the loop at 0:18.
This also applies to Mustang and AC/DC.
