I am putting up for sale my beloved 1988 Swords of Fury pinball machine. It had been sitting in a garage for a few years and before it was left there the only thing wrong with it was that the ball was not returning into the firing position. Unfortunately since I've turned it back on I am told the left hand side backboard
CPU needs replacing and the score board display along with some rubbers. I love this game - "Lion man, lion man"- as it had one of the slickest game plays on any machine. Wondered if anyone would be interested in purchasing it before i put it up on Ebay. The overall condition, apart from what's needed to fix it, is very good. It is located in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and buyers would have to collect from site.

What price are you looking at for it, considering the cost of replacing CPU board and displays?

I saw a fully working one go for around £600 not long ago.

If this type of post is allowed on the forum maybe you should post it in the "Real Pinball" area.

I havent put a price on it yet because its hard to figure out. The guy who looked it over told me certain working parts were worth quite a bit as spares.
I may put it on ebay because I wont let it go for next to nothing. I am also looking at maybe getting a second opinion to see if someone can fix it without replacing the more
expensive parts. I'll post a picture later if necessary but it's in good condition. Does it matter by the way where I post this as I was just looking for feedback?

I think it matters. This forum is for Farsight's Pinball Arcade game. There is no "for sale" or "trade" section on this forum. The only area that would even be close to acceptable would be the "Real Pinball" subforum. This is just my opinion and ultimately it's the moderators call.
