They are running a virtual ROM but it's more of a scripting of the sound. I remember that one of the guys at FarSight explained that they had to insert their own beeps into Medieval Madness because the sounds on the sound card were actually complete and the ROM on the actual machine was inserting the beep over the complete swear word. Since FarSight wasn't really emulating the sound they had to record the sound clips with a beep recorded into it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
