In the previous manner I described didn't happen here, it was...

Start mode from saucer

Shoot left ramp and into the turbo

shoot ball falling from the pop bumpers into the turbo (two balls are stuck here)

locked ball comes down into the inlane, passed it to other flipper

stuck ball falls as other goes into turbo

rebound from the right post of the left ramp brings the ball down the right inlane and the multiball animation starts

too many inlanes might be the trigger, from drains/relaunches or other methods


One of my instances was started at 8,873M, ended at 9,849M, difference was 976M

Boot turbo 20, 30, 50, 60, 80, 90, 90, 90: 510

Jackpot + Supers 50, 60, 60, 60, 60, 60, 60: 410


Neither comes close to the difference, so they both count even if Boost doesn't do it's DMD animation of speeding off into the distance.


Other tips..


Utilize the timer on pit stop multiball early in the game to get your position up, or later in the game to up your lite-ups safely or your bonus multiplier without starting modes.


The Start Race saucer is nice if you don't have a victory lap yet and you just got playfield x3 started and you need to start the checkered flag.
