I don't think it is a thing from farsight. For example europe want taxes for digital too, so the prices are rising. Only thing farsight could do is to drop prices in this countries, but that isn't good also.

I just saw this on steam, PBA just went out of my comfort zone price wise.

Is it the same on the console version too?

Yeah, prices are being adjusted everywhere because USD is very strong against every other currency. The only other way is to reduce prices which means Farsight makes less money for every international sale and that's not entirely fair either. (The big problem for them is they're a US company). Lots of US companies are hurting because of it because foreigners are less likely to buy US stuff because it's so expensive.

Well be interesting to see if this will impact negatively on their sales around the world, and even more interesting will be their next kickstart table, will this price rise for the rest of the world hit their next table kickstart with supporters outside of the US.....i am intresting to see just how much support PBA was getting outside of the US simply because i am a nosy bugger that way. lol

Probably adjustment for changes in exchange rates.

no, becuase there was no such changes like for example triple jump in USD/RUB exhange rates for several years since tpa launched on steam. its just regular greed.

Well here is a interesting little detail, i just fired up PBA for a quick blast, and in-game it seems you can still buy the season pass and tables at the old price, here in the UK it is still showing £22.99.

Very strange to say the least, either this is a bug, or possibly the price increase was done on the steam store for the steam summer sales, a lot of shops here in the UK hike prices of goods up a few month before they drop them back down to normal price and call it on sale..........plus does steam get money only from tables bought via the steam store, or does it get money from tables bought from within the PBA app itself?
