Yep. I used to love History of the World, and barely chuckled while watching recently. I just saw Young Frankenstein for the first time and am stymied why people say it's this hysterical classic. I literally smirked once. Once. My father smirked at me once...wait, different (and much better) movie!I think Airplane is just as funny today as ever. Same with the first Naked Gun. Hot Shots hasn't aged well at all. That being said, any of those spoof comedies from the 80's are way better than any of the lazy hack attempts at spoof that have come along recently, like Date Movie, Epic Movie, Scary Movie, etc.
