Missing the point entirely. Policies can change. Just as NDA, Non Disclosure Agreements, can prevent involved parties from sharing information until things have been somewhat finalized and the console has been released. As I said in my Glib fashion. Asking for "concrete policy statements to solidify those indications" when you should know that this doesn't happen. Given the way that PSN deals with developers now, there is no reason to believe that the process of reaching a consensus with indie and publishing house developers would be a transparent process to end users who need to have no business being involved; especially given the way that fans/end users treat developers and publishers of content on public forums and social media. Even IF the policies are the same/similar on the PS4 as the are presently on the PS3 then the only thing FarSight "Needs" to do is to change the way they deliver the DLC and integrate it into the core program. Why is there still this assumption that FarSight has some huge amount of leverage and negotiating power when dealing with a company like the PSN division of SONY? Look at the number of indie developers and Publishing houses that will be looking to try and get some info or influence on this "new" system that PSN has spoken about in Press Releases in order to tempt fans to spend money. But where do the fans put the pressure, SONY. **** No! They turn to the Developers and Demand that they are the ones to "make sure" that the PS4 deployment contains every hope and dream the community of that particular game is possible of containing. Might as well go hunting for a Unicorn that doesn't **** sparkles, IMO.
