Message: <blockquote data-quote="Bowflex" data-source="post: 132397" data-attributes="member: 24"><p>I think the work involved has more to do with the number of licenses needed.  If you have just one likeness or musical composer/performer as opposed to 5 that would be a lot less.  Anytime you have to deal with lawyers it takes a while.  You could have a cheaper table that is more work.  They said ST:TNG was relatively easy since they had already had a line of contact with Paramount and that there was some agreement that all involved parties made so they didn't have to go after each actor individually.  Probably made it a lot cheaper that way (both the license and the labor/legal fees involved).  But obviously that was less work but still what we would consider quite expensive.</p></blockquote><p></p>
