Wait for 50% off sale and get Season 1... The launch table pack, Theatre of Magic, Tales of The Arabian Nights, Black Hole and Ripley's Believe it or Not is actually an excellent place to start. Attack from Mars, Medieval Madness, Monster Bash, and Star Trek TNG are all very exciting, very accessible tables for beginners, too. But again, all of those are Season 1.. The problem is that a lot of the two-packs have one table I would recommend to a beginner and one that I wouldn't, yet two-packs are a better entry point for newcomers. If forced to stick with packs, though, I think the Cirqus Voltair/Funhouse pack is an excellent pair. White Water/Space Shuttle is two of my favorites that are both very accessible. Medieval Madness/Bride of Pinbot. Finally, the original launch pack.
