I've got Pinball Arcade working in my cabinet now. Two years of infrequent weekends has it up and rolling. 1) Fully controllable with only cabinet pinball buttons mapped to the keyboard controls...using a KADE USB controller/emulator. 2) I have bought ALL the Season tables, so when TPA autostarts upon booting up the computer, I just hit my "select" pinball button to enter the "My Tables" area, and then up/down buttons to highlight the table I want to play and then "select" to play. 3) Still trying to get PBAFreeCam (v. 1.6) to work with the new updated version of TPA11... it just crashes at this point when loading a table through PBAFreeCam. It was working a month ago before TPA updated, with three screens working fine (Main, DMD screen, and Backglass screen). My visiting family had a blast playing my cab this weekend, including their 7 year-old daughter who learned to catch and hold the ball with the flippers... what a moment to see that passed on to the next generation. Within two days, she was doing very well. To TPA developers... I will buy EVERY TABLE you make for my cabinet, so keep 'em coming, and please add two features: 1) When the list of "My Tables" is there, please have some sort of "Attract Mode"... the Addam's Family music gets VERY OLD after about 10 minutes, which is the default at this time (alphabetically first?). How about an option to go into "Attract Mode" and randomly move to different tables every 60 seconds or so? 2) Option to have WiFi mode off, and not have TPA sit there for a long time and have Steam tell me I'm not hooked to the internet... I know that... Just play the game! I'll hook to wifi when I'm ready to buy more available tables. 3) Dedicated cabinet mode with two (or three!) monitors, with customizable DMD placement, so we are not dependent upon the Mod to do that for us...at some point the Mod developer will tire of keeping the updates going for years...and we'll be out what should be part of the game (even if we have to pay for it). Thank you...LOVE the game in my (home-made) cabinet. http://mattisageek.blogspot.com Dr. Rings, MD US Navy
