So I finally made it up to The Pinball Wizard Arcade today in Pelham,NH. I have to tell you - I was not disappointed!!! I'll post my overall thoughts in the appropriate thread, but I have updated my 1st post in this thread to include the TPA tables that I played for the first or second time today. Here are the new additions to my list: (though I was bummed that Black Hole wasn't set up) Gorgar: I actually did okay playing this - which made my enjoyment of the table grow by a fair amount. My time playing this in TPA really helped. Harley-Davidson: 3rd Edition: Again,my time spent learning the rules of the game helped me here. I had fun playing it! (It wasn't a 3rd edition, but rules and modes are the same,so I included it here) Genie: Widebody goodness! Except for one thing...which will cover the rest of the pins except for CP,which I'll talk about at the end. Anyways - a pretty table, and again - knowing what I needed to try to do makes the fun factor go up. Dr.Dude: Not a bad table, though I died on it pretty quick... Firepower: I've only played this once before IRL,so I was looking forward to playing this! I was very disappointed that while the sound was fine - there was no voice...otherwise, a fun challenging table. White Water: Again, only the second time playing this IRL. Kinda knowing what to try to do really helped the fun factor here! I had a lot of fun especially playing WH2O,and I can see why so many pinheads rave about the table. Champion Pub: Easily the highlight of the day for me in regards to the TPA pins. Again, learning the ruleset makes a world of difference with the fun factor.Having never seeing a CP in person before today - I now see why the TPA table looks the way that it does. Thing I liked the most? I'm horrible at the Spittin' Gallery video mode on TPA. At least on iOS. It took me forever to finally pass that goal on TPA. Played one game today, got the mode - perfect score! At least I know I should do better when I finally play it on a console... All in all,I had fun - but the main difference between TPA & the real thing showed its ugly head - and it was the !%#< STDM shots. What minor skills I do have playing tables did come back to me somewhat - but you can really see where FS has "tweaked" the TPA pins to not have so many of those happen. I'm not complaining though - I had an AWESOME time!!! If you ever get the chance to go there - you'll have a lot of fun!
