Why does Challenges keep last score and not high score??

The whole point of pinball is to beat the best score not beat the last score? It should not reset the score to the last time you played a challenge and lower your entire play level back to beginner. It makes it so that if I get a really high score on a challenge I don't want to play it again so as to not lower my challenge rating.

and are they adding new challenges for season 2 and 3?

There's a thread in the Poll forum suggesting that tournaments be run with "keep last score" as opposed to "keep best score".

I kind of like the idea that keeping your last score introduces some risk when you try to improve your score.

if I can read, his problem is that playing table in challenge mode (not the tournament) actually deletes local hiscore. Just like messing with operator menu.

Err, no, Challenge games do not overwrite local hiscore. I just finished a kickass BH game in Challenge mode. I exit to the main menu, go into the regular BH table, look at high scores, still the crappy high scores I had before this kickass game.
