Might as well do HS2 instead as they're essentially the same machine with the addition of the supercharger and DMD.

Couldn't the same thing be said of BK2000? There's something to be said about the simplicity of High Speed, your motivation for shooting certain shots is different than what you shoot in The Getaway.

That's why we need both!!

Both are at the top of my wanted list. The supercharger on The Getaway is great, but there's charm with the original table as well.

Totally agree...HS, HS2 and BK2K...I'd buy that...

Love The Getaway. Not so much for High Speed. My idea of the perfect scenario for these two is to own The Getaway (the real table), and have High Speed's excellent backglass on the wall next to it. Given my finances, I'd be more than happy at the moment for Castles & Coasters to just fix the damn flippers on The Getaway so I can at least play it when I make it over there next.

I think I've decided this will be the table I try and trade up for with my Firepower once it's finished being restored. I know I really like it, and I know it is well liked enough that I could fairly easily trade up from it eventually too.

We really need a good racing themed game (Taxi does not count) and high Speed is the best there is! I've also played it on NES, but the stupid ball-gobbling hazards not present in the original table ruined it for me.

I've never played the real life versions, but my impression is that BK2000 is very different from Black Knight, it looks way way more interesting to me. BK is probably the only TPA table that truly does nothing for me.

I would much rather see the Getaway make it into the collection if we had to choose between the two. It improves on the original in every way. It's some of the finest use of a DMD ever. Great video mode. The sound and music work perfectly with the theme and actually help to immerse you into the little world that the table tries to create.

The modes are amazing, the light shows are amazing, the supercharger is beast. Adrenaline is the name of that game. The first was great, there's no denying it, but the Getaway trumps it hands down.
