*Mobile comparison only TPA physics are fine, and there's not a huge difference between them and Zen regular physics, though I quickly preferred Zen's ball behavior. Once you play the Pro physics, it becomes night and day between what FarSight and Zen did. The biggest difference for me is that with Zen the ball feels like it is making actual contact with the table at all times, and ball speeds change up all the time. With TPA the ball suddenly feels like it is on ice, gliding over the surface instead of rolling. Ball speeds seem artificial and dictated by preset conditions. There is also the issue of ball trajectory, where in TPA it can be very predictable while Zen has managed to introduce a variety of ways a ball might react. This is not limited to Pro physics either, but across the board. I'll give you an example... In Medieval Madness after making the castle lock or having the ball go into the moat, it ejects from down the left side of the table. I have seen the ball randomly go: - past the slingshot, dead pass from left to right flipper - past the slingshot, dead pass from left flipper to a higher bounce that might contact the right slingshot - brush the left slingshot and activate it - past the slingshot and sdtm - past the slingshot and into a cradled left flipper - past the slingshot and bounce off a cradled flipper up and into the left inlane Now try doing that in TPA. You'll either always be able to cradle the ball in the left flipper or it will always dead pass to the right and land in exactly the same spot every time. If you play the Pro physics, there's an even larger variety of things that can happen. Rather than give people a quick short taste of the Pro physics, I think the daily challenges could sometimes make use of them, as well as the enhanced graphics. That's a 24 hour window, and then it's gone again or applied to a different table. Think about it, the challenges are labeled as Basic, Advanced, and Pro already. Make advanced get use now and then of the Pro physics and enhanced visuals.
