What's the story behind your username and avatar? Why did you pick them?

I will hold off on revealing mine for a few days - interested if anyone can work it out. I'm not into playing dungeons and dragons :) but the name and avatar comes from the old Amiga days.

Name is a videogame thing (took the name of a popular character and modified it). Chose it when I needed a unique name for an in-game character about 13 years ago, and I felt it worked much better as a common name than the internet handle I was using at the time.

Avatar is just my face. Should probably change it to something pin related soon.

Isn't Azathoth a Lovecraft thing?

Kolchak is from the old TV show The Night Stalker starring Darren McGavin which ran in 1974-75. I love 60's, 70's, and 80's TV and have a large DVD collection. But The Night Stalker is maybe my favorite. It started as my twitter name. I had to add the number as the name was already taken by someone else. I own a Taurus 357 revolver, so that is where the 357 came from. The picture is Kolchak fending off a vampire.

PS - All 20 episodes of The Night Stalker are on Netflix instant if you care to check it out.

Jutter means beachcomber. It's a nickname given to people from my hometown of Den Helder. As for the Avatar, that was an impulse and partially because I love Southpark, but allow me to just make up the following reason: TPA stil hasn't received a green light from STEAM, and that makes me a sad panda.

Rudy came up with the name and I always liked extremely short names that do not end with i or y.

My name: I kinda just thought about it, considering my skill in pinball and high score in The Web (45 billion).

My avatar: Actually, that is supposed to show my score for The Web.

Mine is a variation of my last name that has been my nickname since I was roughly 7.

The avatar is a "Simpsonized" version of a picture of me. It's actually a pretty good representation of me.

Maybe it's time to ask about Extort ?
Or you? :)

I have thought that in Pinballwiz45b, the "45b" was leet for "ard"... 4 is often used for A, b is a backwards d, and 5 is an upside-down R with one segment slanted...

workshed originally comes from a quote from Evil Dead II. I was looking for a username many years ago and picked a copy of Bruce Campbell's If Chins Could Kill sitting on my desk. Opened to a random page and it was one where he talked about that obviously dubbed line in the movie. It is one of my favorite movies, and I like gardening, so I went with it. Go read that book btw, it is an autobiography and really great read. He is very funny and self deprecating. His second book is also well worth reading: Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way, which is not quite an autobiography but even better.

The avatar speaks for itself. Mamushka!

Slam23 is my homage to the best baller that ever played the game: Michael Jordan. Slam is another word for dunk, and Jordan played predominantly with jersey number 23. I have used this name since the time I got active on the internet, back in 1995. The avatar is quite a strange story. It's actually the logo of the Chicago Bulls, the NBA team Jordan played for most of his career. However, it's normally in red and black and definitely without the halo. I found this version as a neon sign outside of a New Zealand biker bar, called the Holy Bull. I don't think they signed a license agreement with the NBA for it, so it's a bit of a ripoff. Anyway, I took a photo of it and since then used it as my avatar. So I guess now you know my other big interest beside my pinball hobby... :)
