These tables are playing a little “choppy” in cabinet mode on my VPCabs Vertigo. (I had already set up cabinet mode for the FX3 regular tables prior to this beta.) In cabinet mode the DMD is showing both in monitor 2 and at the top of the playfield. The backglass is not showing at all in monitor 2 — just the DMD. With the regular Zen tables the backglass art has to be copied to a specific folder in order to appear on monitor 2, so I’m just chalking this up to the beta. *** EDIT *** The playfield DMD can be turned off via the Options Streaming Menu, so that fixes that issue. I had already done this for the regular Zen tables, but it reset the option in the beta. Of more concern is the “choppiness”. Audio in particular for “Fish Tales” is very choppy. The “Medieval Madness” table sounds more normal, but the ball moves a little choppy. I’m going to be playing around with the Nvidia 3D settings tomorrow to see if I can get it to run a little smoother. So far I much prefer the Arcooda/TPA cabinet mode software on my VPCabs Vertigo. The “light shows” for Medieval Madness seem far superior and the physics are nice and smooth. And, of course, I get full DMD/Backglass support on Monitor 2. The thing is, I paid extra for the Arcooda cabinet support, *plus* this is a beta; so it’s probably not fair to compare the two at this time.
