Hello. I set up a very crude cabinet and am running it on windows 10. I have a zero delay USB encoder that works great with other pinball software but when I go into controls for TPA and try to remap the buttons it doesn't recognize the arcade cabinet buttons I press. Any help is greatly appreciated.

According to this...
https://www.s-config.com/zero-delay-usb-joystick-encoder/
... it's just a generic usb joystick so it likely just uses DirectInput, modern games follow the XInput method because of the standardized button layout, The Pinball Arcade happens to be one of those games. You'll have to use a wrapper, what it does is listens for DirectInput and translates it to XInput, the one you want is called x360ce.

It works really well for me. I managed to get a steam controller, a cheap noname directinput controller, and a DS4 to act as xinput so far.
