Due to the way the playfield is stretched from one screen to the next..the size of the transparency holes change with the backglass resolution used.
You can't just resize the image..you have to resize the image..but retain the transparency sections size..its alot of work :)
my native resolution...
I would try making a custom resolution, it might be that 800 wide is just to low, don't forget the playfield itself is stretched 1080x293 onto the next display.
Try making a custom display of 1024x600 or something and see if that works.
You can use PinballX to change the 3rd backglass display's...
i'm sure that could happen but its weird that the position is starting almost 200pixels to the right the fact you move your monitor around and it has no impact is bizarro.
HD6970's is a dual gpu on one card right? I have that in my media center pc..i might have to setup a second monitor on it...
someone else mentioned having to Disable DSR to fix some offset issues.(amd's is called VSR)
If thats not the case you will need to find a way to center the top monitor better in the catalyst controls since the starting point is based on how centered it is.
i'll try installing the lastest one on...
Hey Powerus. the mod allows a plus or minus 30 but it looks like you've gone the wrong way and need to reset the value..the default no adjustment will center the backglass
then you can see how far you need to adjust to get no gap around the dmd
right now you've moved so far to the right you've...
I dont' wanna see anymore pre 80's tables in the season packs myself personally. with only 10 tables a year it feels like such a style difference it doesn't feel like I'd want to commit to season passes if they were mixed in.
That said I can't wait for Zaccaria to come to pc..I feel their tables...
LOL gotta love someone take a deep dive with no lifeguard :)
when ya have some free time message me I can help ya get it going if you want..
NoEx is working on a way to make this work on 3..just gonna take some more time.
so i know a lot of people have a 3 monitor setup. For those that have a pc monitor for the DMD I was thinking of a way to shift the screen from the bottom of the monitor so the dmd part of the game window thats stretched to screen 2 aligns within the cutout for the DMD monitor in the Cabinet...
3 on one is great it shouldn't be a problem its the order they stack in the driver section that matters.
you don't need to reassign the numbers in the nvidia controls just need to identify which is which. Ctrl+F4 will close the current window..or if all else fails control +Alt+delete and select...
so right now NoEx's mod will stretch to a second monitor thats setup above the playfield in your monitor setup screen
Its currently configured to stretch 293 pixels. Im hopeful at some point 3 displays will work but I couldn't tell you if its possible right now NoEx would have to speak to that...
I think what would help to improve the drop catches to behave more realisticly would be to implement some ball spin and flipper deflection when it gets hit hard .
Circus was one of those tables I wasn't sure what to do with the DMD on the backglass.
The dmd is built into the table but on a flat screen its not the easiest to read that way, thats why i left 2 version in the folder figured those that want it that way would just switch the names on the files...
OMG I'm so bad at Bigshot and Eldorado.. I just can't get anywhere with this kind of table :-(
In the amateur Bronze bracket those are the two that kill me... just no fun at all and got no feel for the lazy way the ball moves.
Having this be a new separate program does have the added benefit of starting fresh.
Implementing new features and better physics (Ball spin, slight random deflection from targets, less on the rail shots etc.) without the pressure of having to go back to 64 other tables and retune everything...
thats great Pmarak! never thought about the scaling of text affecting things. thanks for sharing your findings, Both this and Aero are gonna be easy things to check for everyone else now that we know where to look.
