So I've been fiddling and I was thinking since Pinball FX2 is digital fantasy video game Pinball Anyways.. Why not try taking things abit further with the 2screen Cab setup and use videos for the backglass instead of just pictures.
Namsan had done some animated images for back glass but seems...
the camera mod doesn't change any source code, its external to the program..that would require changes from Farsight at this point they've put cab support on hold for the foreseeable future..so i wouldn't hold your breath for real dmd support anytime soon.
that's not what i was talking about.
I'm talking about when you combine 2 inputs (analog nudge and digital nudge) at the same time with an end result that had the ball launching up and out with twice the force (in real life you will tilt most tables hitting it that hard) .. the dev said they...
so far the flipper and material physics tuning has been really rough with VPX but if they can zero in on some good values it could really be stellar and help alot of authors fine tune their tables.
this looks great btw
I find I can only really enjoy a Zen table if I focus on their game for a while..I can't go in for a game then go back to TPA or VP. Their game design is different enough it takes time to adjust. Once I commit to playing it and get to the point where the missions and rules objectives start to...
Here is a link to a Media Pack of 30second videos of all 66 tables using NoEx's Camera Mod for use with Front Ends like Pinball X

Its about 1.2GB and can be extracted into your "\PinballX\Media\Pinball Arcade\Table...
welp sounds like a few people will find them useful so I'll start with the table videos and post the Backglass videos later when I've worked out more finished ones.
The videos aren't of me playing well tho..recording 66 clips in a couple days then learning how to convert, flip orientation, then...
make sure you haven't set your windows font size to be more then 100% in your display properties..it affects the camera mod, might be related.
if not try hitting alt enter a few times see if that helps.
sounds like an aspect ratio issue..the game doesn't like anything but 9:16 in portrait honestly
I've been enjoying some time off work this Christmas and been keeping myself busy recording videos to Enhance my setup.
I've got dx11 videos of every table now using the Camera mod and started working on updateding my Backglass videos.
I've collected quiet a few videos from VPforums, youtube...
I think this is just abit of a soft touch reality check for us. I expect no news on the PC front till next Christmas 2016 from the sounds of it, if ever.
Which means to me its basically vaporware.
I like VP's Christmas news so much more :)
looks like your using the original media pack with the transparency holes in it.. and using the T Formation for your setup, you don't' need to use that pack anymore..just use the 1600x1200 with grill one. and position the floating DMD where you want it.
Play field display resolution of...
Glad to Help Paul , it is a bit tricky getting the resize arrows to show up on the secondary screens I usually have to move the mouse cursor on and off that monitor a few times before it clicks in..but moving the dmd to the playfield is a much better idea :)
