iOS Version 1.1.6 Featuring Various Bug Fixes AVAILABLE NOW!

I can not believe BLACK HOLE is STILL NOT FIXED!!!!! MY GOD!
This is one of the original games and there has been hundreds of comments here and on FB about this and still no fix!!!
Jake Lopez , allegedly one of your employees said on this forum, that this would be fixed 2 updates ago!!

What exactly DID this "bug fix" FIX? Please list them FS!

What bug is it? I have black hole for the xbox. Is the bug there too? I haven't noticed anything too funky.

On iOS , ...When the ball is down in the lower Playfield , once the targets are hit to open the re-entry gate, the gate is supposed to STAY OPEN (according to every rulesheet and every BH machine I've played) . On the current version, hitting the pop bumpers down there closes the gate.
The strange thing is, FS fixed it once and then when some one realized that the instructions didn't agree with the corrected table, instead of also fixing the instructions, they uploaded the broken version back up so they agreed! This is simply insane!
CAN Farsight be so "in over it's head" with all the platforms , DLC's and bugs galore, that it can't even fix this, the easiest of bugs to fix???
Indecently, Jake Lopez of Farsight promised that bug would be fixed, 2 updates ago.

Don't know if this is true on XBOX, but I have heard other platforms beside iOS are afflicted with this bug.

The lower pop bumper still closes the gate on XBox 360. It doesn't on Android.

The lower pop bumper issue on Black Hole ISN'T a bug, it's an operator selectable option and one they plan to change because of complaints. I enjoy the extra level of challenge myself.

yeah i actually prefer it the way it is. the table would be too easy otherwise. it adds an element of suspense and strategy. "oh the gate is open .... should i let it drain, or take my chances trying to rack up more points down here????"

The official rules for BLACK HOLE say that only hitting the POP bumpers on the UPPER playfield , close the gate. I have played many Real BLACK HOLES and never once has there been one that was set the way BH currently is on TPA.

Of course there would be an "Extra Level Of Challenge" if only one flipper worked. That argument is beyond besides the point. ;-)

If they hadnt changed it up id probably still be banging away, but the gate closing like it does takes away my favourite shot...coming outof the gate and right back down the ramp....it may make for an easier game but that shot IS the game for me now

Fair enough, that's jus what I read in another thread. The current setup hasn't stopped me playing the game; I only have the "score 250k I the lower playfield" standard goal left. Got a 120k bonus on it today so I think that's definitely achievable now that I've gotten used to playing the lower playfield more. I don't have any strong feeling about the gate issue presently, but it will make the table a lot easier if/when they change the setting.
