Ritchieand oursler have six each. Nordman has 5. Jpop has only made 5 tables, one of which can't be done so hi had three of his four included this far. Same with Brian eddy having only made 4 and three are in. Joe kaminkow also has 4 of his tables included.

John Trudeau even has 4, including 3 of his 7 Williams / Bally games. Popadiak has three out of his five. Mark Ritchie even has 3.

Basically if you are a Sys11 or DMD Williams or Bally designer, you've got a lot of pins in Pinball Arcade. In contrast to Jim Patla (early EM / SS Bally), with just one. Or Greg Kmiec (same) with zero so far. Or John Borg (who was all Data East and only has 1 pin in from Stern). Or Joe Kaminkow (also all Data East, so he got just one pin into TPA, and only recently.)

(Ed Krynski is the rare exception to this rule, he's Gottlieb EM / early SS but managed to get 4 pins of his into the game!)

The Lawlor tables have gotten a bit tiresome, but most people seem to love them, so I can't complain. At the very least, we're getting all the popular ones out of the way and can move on to something else.

You know what? I'll take all of Lawlor's tables in TPA. Some people like his work,some don't as much. I happen to like most of his tables - which is no slight against any of the other "big" pinball designers - because I like their stuff too.

Well,realistically you are looking at two to possibly three more pins designed by him getting into TPA. So the rest of the pins will be by someone else.

Sometimes it just seems haters just want to hate. In the end - it's just pinball - and I'm thankful for what we have.

Why? Because I'm old enough to remember what we used to have,and what we no longer do.

Lawlor is by favorite designer and would gladly see the rest of his output as well. I will say that safecracker does not play like anything else he has done and monopoly is another table that you would never guess is a lawlor. Even banzai run does not really share any major design elements in common with all his more widely recognized tables. There is more variety out there and earthshaker was a good release since it does have a playfield design that feels quite different than tables like whirlwind, funhouse and ripleys which do share a lot of common design features.
