Is it me or is the game running poorly, lately?

I've been trying to play some tables, but I'd notice how the table would go slower, half the time. Like, it would slow to a crawl, screwing up my timing. What happened? I've gotten a new computer for christmas, that's better than my old one in just about every way, and that one ran it better.

Did you get a 120-Hz monitor with it? If so, consult the thread here for what happens when TPA is run at something other than 60 fps.

Nope, I'm using the same monitor as before. It's the game, itself. I can tell, because some of the sounds take longer to play between certain parts.
