Sorry to interrupt your discussions on lightning-options, but it´s so frustrating beeing an european customer of Farsight.
Still no SPA in our Ps4-shop and, more important, no information about releasedate in good old Europe. Well, we all know, that their information-policy is straight out of hell (which is proved once again).

I guess, the company is run by a monk, who took a vow of silence.

Glad to see the lighting on Star Trek. Seems much better.

The lighting has improved a lot. I use Cinema settings on my plasma which tend to be darker. I made a setting on my TV that's a bit brighter and more contrasty just for SPA. I can say I don't need to use it anymore BUT I still do for ST because I like the inserts to be really bright.

Ball looks a lot better as well. Like I said before, the tables play really well and the sound is very dynamic and punchy.

Any word on if Pinball Arcade PS4 will get these dual lighting sliders?

I also hope they can add trophies for the other tables on Stern instead of just having them for Frankenstein.

Looks pretty good-but hopefully FarSight will fix the DMD at some point. It's on a PS4, yet the DMD looks very much like it did on the Ouya. Very dithered.

I hope so too. It's so weird that on PS4 that they have trophies for Frankenstein and 0 for the for the paid DLC tables, while Xbox one has 0 Frankenstein achievements and four achievements per paid table. Hopefully Farsight brings these over in trophy form. I also hope they make them bronze so they don't hit their trophy limit for future tables.

I thought having trophies on Frankenstein was odd too, especially since it's just a dupe of a table in TPA.

I just hope they don't dupe anymore tables from TPA in SPA. That just seemed kind of shady to have over half of the initially available tables be dupes like that.

Any idea when we should expect the Ghostbusters table?

Is the physical disc out yet? It's supposed to come with the LE versions of the three newer Stern tables. If so, anyone have it?

To be fair you can't really blame Farsight for this. Stern is running the show here and they decide what info to release and when. FS is just doing the development work - they're building a product for Stern to sell. Look at it this way: when a new iPhone comes out, who announces it? Apple, or the factory where it was built? If they're keeping quiet it's because they are contractually obligated to.

Gee with this kind of welcoming environment I can't imagine why he would want to stay away.

wrong. because other FS member already disclosed here on the forum target release window for steam and europe console release.

and wrong again, because connection with community is his job, no matter what it is. and it is not fault of community what it became such type of relations after several years of "soon"s and "we are working hard on it"s.

What was your question?

Ghost Busters won't release until next year and we currently don't have a set date.

I'll say that I never expected SPA releases to be monthly. It's gotta be much more work to digitize each of these tables not to mention that FarSight is still doing TPA. I still am happy that this even exists. Pinball table prices have spiraled out of control and I don't have any locations near me. To get these newer tables at ten bucks a pop is very satisfying to me.

Stern comes out with 3 or 4 new tables a year? So far this year we've had... Game Of Thrones (though IPDB lists some editions as 2015), Spider-Man Vault (which is a re-theme), Ghostbusters, and Batman '66. Maybe 1 new game every 3 to 4 months. There is a back catalog that might be do-able, might not be, depending on licensing. Probably one new table added every 3 months might be reasonable to expect.

so table release pace for SPA will be slower than for TPA or may be even irregular?

As of right now yes, it will be slower than TPA and possibly irregular depending on several things, production, licensing, approvals, marketing, ect.
