That's odd, I don't notice any of the same issues.
You might check your video card settings for a toggle between RGB "full" (0-255) and "limited" (16-235) colorspace. If your PC is outputting a full RGB colorspace but your TV doesn't support it, that can lead to blown-out highlights as well as...
Attempting to install just results in an empty app folder (SteamApps/common/PinballArcade). Attempting to "verify integrity of game cache" instantly results in "all files successfully validated".
Wacky.
Cactus Canyon: Doing a weak plunge (so that the ball rolls back to the plunger) causes the camera to move to normal table view. This means you can no longer see the plunger, but you can still plunge the ball.
Stuttering issue: I was testing on Cactus Canyon. The newest beta played OK for 15...
Cactus Canyon: Doing a weak plunge (so that the ball rolls back to the plunger) will cause the camera to move to the standard table view. This makes it so that you can no longer see the plunger; it can still be pulled back, but blindly.
All Tables: Tables play smoothly (maybe 60fps) for...
To expand on this idea: How about adding real-time head/eye tracking capabilities? Having a flat playfield is great for building a virtual pin, but the static camera leaves something to be desired. It would be awesome to be able to add a webcam that would track your head movements. Then you...
Hasn't this been discussed multiple times before? The digital versions are intentionally made easier... even at the recommendation of the original table creators. The whole reason they are made so difficult in the first place is to get people to pump quarters into them. The digital versions...
I kept forgetting to post this one. This happens on ALL the tables as far as I know:
If you weak plunge, the ball will roll back and rebound off the plunger a few times before settling at rest (at which point the player would attempt another plunge). Sounds normal. However, the game allows you...
Scared Stiff
I was able to replicate the bug that jaredmorgs mentioned regarding hitting two balls into the crate at the same time. They clack together and trigger multiple jackpots (like 10 or 20) before finally ejecting out.
Here's one that's easy to reproduce:
*Going to the store purchase screen for the pro version and backing out (not purchasing) causes the "Purchase Pro Version" menu to become unresponsive. A force close seems to be necessary to get out of the menu.
*Also, as eckless noted: all tables display...
I thought it was known that the scores for one other table (Theater of Magic I think) got mixed up with the Black Hole leaderboards.
Edit: Obviously there's more going on. Check out the 1st place score on Gorgar and Black Knight. ;) Leaderboards are pretty much just a joke at this point in time.
Going into "options" and clicking "Our Mission" causes the menu to disappear and the app to become unresponsive requiring a force close.
Going into the Leaderboards, selecting the "My Score" tab, and scrolling up to load more scores will cause the application to hang on "Loading…" requiring a...
