    Pro Pinball

Pro Pinball uses pre-rendered graphics, so console hardware will have no issues with the graphics quality if the game is ported.

Note that while a later build has plans for a cabinet view, that video is using the standard portrait view instead.

Yeah, that's why I made 60fps recordings, the 30fps recordings on Youtube just aren't the same.

They aren't in the current alpha, but yes, there's supposed to be multiple views in future builds. Also a special cabinet view as well, and support for a real DMD.

The good news is that everything is prerendered graphics except for the balls, so system requirements should actually be quite low. This is why there'll be able to be an Android/iOS version too. The test version requires OpenGL 1.5, so anything newer than an Intel 945 will hopefully be able to...

I don't know. Not that there's really anything wrong with the current mechanical sounds.

They've told us that in the final version you'll have the choice of the classic 1997 Timeshock! physics engine, and a new updated engine. Flipper moving down when the ball hits is currently in (and if you use glass off mode to hit the flipper from underneath, it moves the flipper up). Also...

A few more videos posted, this time for some operator's menu things: burn-in test, and flasher/light tests. http://www.procrastinationland.com/pinball or https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuZHQZNR2T1sQUnXb0YxmY9x0seaSw8eW

Even more amazing when you realize that Timeshock! was released in 1997, so it's a 17 year old physics engine!

    Pro Pinball

This is a Pro Pinball game, so there's a fully functional operator's menu including tests for individual flashers, and a burn-in test mode. Want me to make a recording of any of those?

Correct, currently none of the mechanical animations are in except for the flippers and the ball. There's suppose to be a magnetic crane arm that picks up the ball. There's a multiball where the flashers are going at 2:15 on the landscape game, or 2:25 on the portrait one. Is that the kind of...

The lighting is adjustable still, I just wasn't fiddling with it because I was playing. Also not all of the flashers have finished rendering if I remember correctly.

Also, this initial Alpha version is still using the 1997 physics engine, they haven't put in the upgraded physics yet.

Ok, videos have been uploaded to Youtube, and should be done processing in a few minutes! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuZHQZNR2T1sQUnXb0YxmY9x0seaSw8eW Edit: Videos have finished processing, and as suspected they were converted to 30fps. 60fps versions are still up on my server.
  15. K

    Pro Pinball

I should be able to do that. If I remember correctly Youtube converts to 30fps, if that matters to you.

Videos are back up, I got word directly from Ade that videos are OK!

Also, I'm quite glad I have no data cap: 215GB of traffic in under 24 hours. Timeshock! still has some people interested in it!

The KickStarter campaign is over, but it would appear they are still accepting Paypal: https://www.pro-pinball.com/pledge-with-paypal/ I've also taken down the videos for now, because apparently there's conflicting data on whether or not videos of the test version are allowed at this time.
